About the Role
We’re on the lookout for a proactive, detail-oriented Account Executive to support and grow client programs in the building materials and construction trade industry. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in everything from writing social posts and case studies to managing deliverables, budgets, and stakeholder communications. You’ll work across integrated campaigns—spanning media relations, digital, social, and content—helping ensure projects stay on track and on brand.

If you’ve got a few years under your belt in an agency or B2B setting and are ready to take more ownership and build direct client relationships, this is a great opportunity to grow.

What You’ll Be Doing
•    Project & Campaign Management
o    Help manage timelines, deliverables, and approvals across multiple client accounts
o    Maintain project trackers, status updates, and task lists
o    Ensure all moving parts—from strategy to execution—are running smoothly
•    Content & Communications
o    Write and edit content for social media, websites, internal briefs, and technical materials
o    Translate complex ideas into clear, engaging communications for trade and consumer audiences
•    Client & Stakeholder Engagement
o    Own day-to-day communication with clients—managing requests, timelines, and expectations
o    Join client calls, contribute to status meetings, and support day-to-day communications
o    Anticipate needs and support issue resolution before they become problems
•    Budget Support
o    Assist with the creation, tracking, and reconciliation of project budgets
o    Help flag scope changes and support billing accuracy
•    Industry & Media Engagement
o    Research and engage with trade media and influencers looking to engage on collaborative projects
o    Support earned media and content campaigns targeted to B2B decision-makers

You’ll Excel If You Have
•    4–6 years of experience in PR, integrated marketing, or communications (preferably in an agency or B2B environment)
•    Strong writing skills across social, web, and technical formats
•    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail—you know how to keep things moving while tracking time against budgets
•    Confidence working directly with clients and juggling multiple priorities 
•    A curious, grounded, and team-first mindset—you’re a doer who also thrives on collaboration
•    Interest in building science or technical/trade industries (bonus points if you like learning how things are built!)
