ServiceNow Developer – Customer Service Management (CSM)

We are seeking a qualified ServiceNow Developer to support a provincial government client in the public sector. This role focuses on the enhancement, hands-on development, and customization of the Customer Service Management (CSM) module within ServiceNow. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, a solid understanding of public sector service delivery, and experience working in a structured, compliance-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of enhancements to the ServiceNow Customer Service Management (CSM) module, tailored to the needs of the provincial public sector.

  • Customize workflows, service portals, and integrations to streamline citizen service delivery and case management.

  • Collaborate with government stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver scalable solutions.

  • Develop and maintain custom scripts, business rules, Flow Designer flows, and integrations within the CSM framework.

  • Ensure compliance with public sector standards and data security policies.

  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and support testing and release activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven hands-on development experience with ServiceNow, with a primary focus on the Customer Service Management (CSM) module.

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Customer Service Management (mandatory).

  • Strong understanding of case management, knowledge base, service portal, and CSM workflows.

  • Proficient in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript), Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules, and integration techniques (REST/SOAP APIs)

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Nice to have Qualifications:

  • Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics or Virtual Agent in a CSM context.

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and public sector compliance requirements.

  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with legacy systems commonly used in government environments.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$90.00 and CA$95.00
