Job Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: Regina, SK (Hybrid)

Estimated Duration: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

  • Leads large, high risk, and complex projects to deliver defined business outcomes and organizational value. 
  • Partners with senior and executive stakeholders to define scope, develop project charters, and align objectives with business and technology strategies. 
  • Builds comprehensive project plans including budgets, timelines, resource strategies, risk assessments, and delivery approaches. 
  • Applies strong technical, business, and financial acumen to ensure deliverables support strategic priorities and customer needs. 
  • Provides leadership to multi disciplinary teams, offering coaching, mentorship, and guidance to drive high performance and collaboration. 
  • Integrates and adapts multiple delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative, Hybrid) based on project requirements. 
  • Manages complex stakeholder relationships, facilitating clear communication, informed decision making, and effective issue resolution. 
  • Oversees end to end project execution, ensuring risks are mitigated, variances are addressed, and governance and compliance standards are met. 
  • Ensures readiness and smooth transition to operations through effective change management and post implementation reviews. 
  • Drives continuous improvement, promotes best practices, and contributes to enhancing project management standards across the organization.

Qualifications: 

  • 5-10 years managing medium to large projects and programs varying in complexity, methodologies, or approaches
  • University or College education in Project Management, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Related industry certifications (PMP, Prince2) are considered an asset
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and practice, how to apply and adapt it in high complexity projects and lead the application of practice 
  • Experience managing more complex stakeholder relationships
  • Business, technical and financial acumen with the ability to apply it to the project and business landscape at a higher level 
  • Strong understanding of project methodologies and experience with project management tools (e.g. MS Project), task management and collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint
  • Strong knowledge in Agile, Iterative and Waterfall methodologies
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of risk assessment and management techniques 
  • Utilize Book of Record system(s) for oversight and inputting, tracking, and generating reports for projects/initiatives through lifecycle, ensuring timely, accurate and current data in system

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$90.00 and CA$95.00
