Reporting to the Director, Information Security,  the Project Manager, Cyber Resilience will lead initiatives that strengthen the firm’s ability to anticipate, withstand, and recover from cyber threats. This role ensures resilience programs align with Canadian regulatory frameworks, protect investor confidence, and support the stability of capital markets.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a cyber resilience strategy tailored to Canadian financial regulatory body.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (IT, cybersecurity, compliance, legal, supervisory divisions) to deliver resilience initiatives.
  • Creation of detailed integrated project plan(s), planning for the approach, timing, deliverables and sequencing, effort, etc.
  •  Manage project scope, cost and time of IT workstream
  •  Provide regular reporting on progress, roadblocks and updated estimates to IT management and relevant stakeholders
  •  Work with the relevant business and IT areas where and when asked for such items as defining needs, addressing issues, and ensuring requirements are being met through the implementation, and other purposes.
  •   Work alongside and coordinate with other partners and project managers to ensure alignment of overall project delivery objective
  • Monitor evolving cyber threats targeting trading platforms, clearinghouses, and investment firms in Canada, and advise on regulatory implications.
  • Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms to demonstrate resilience maturity
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Finance, Risk Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of program or project management experience in cybersecurity, financial regulation, or investment risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian regulatory frameworks (e.g., OSFI’s Technology and Cyber Risk Management Guidelines, CSA rules).
  • Familiarity with global standards such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, and the EU’s Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) for cross-border alignment.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder programs in regulated environments.
  • Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, or FRM are highly desirable.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$100.00 and CA$110.00
