The Canadian Tire Petroleum (CTP) Network Development team is responsible for the development, maintenance, and compliance of the CTP retail gas bar network, including 22 ONroute highway locations. This role will be responsible for helping the Manager oversee the capital budget, project scoping, and working with vendors on various Network Development projects to ensure everything meets not only CTC brand standards, and that CTP business goals are achieved, and our stores are fully compliant and safe for staff and customers alike.
What you’ll do

- Oversee efficient deployment of the CTP (Canadian Tire Petroleum) capital budget on both site-specific and network-wide initiatives
- Work with the CTP Operations team and CTREL (Canadian Tire Real Estate) to explore and execute new store and redevelopment opportunities
- Assist with our partners on the ONroute business, Suncor, Irving Oil, and other partners for all operational issues that arise.
- Work with our vendor to ensure our sites are compliant and have all necessary permits and licenses
- Positive, productive communication with the Operations team including RBMs (Regional Business Managers) and FOMs (Field Operations Managers)
- Work with Marketing & Merchandising colleagues to assist (or receive assistance) on any initiatives underway.
- Work with CTREL to assess and execute various opportunities or closures.

- A business and/or technical background would be beneficial in the role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to manage multiple deadline-driven projects.
- Ability to foster strong, productive relationships with a core team of vendors and contractors
- Skill in developing business plans and the creation of compelling arguments for same.
- Collaborative team players with superior influencing skills, who build relationships easily across various stakeholder groups to achieve team objectives

What you bring

- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience is required
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong knowledge of Office 365 tools – SharePoint, Co-Pilot
- Proven talent for multi-tasking a variety of projects
- Strong passion and energy to revitalize and expand the CTP offer
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, required in developing and maintaining relationships with immediate team, stakeholders, consultants and contractors
- An understanding of the Petroleum industry would be an asset
- Having a Driver’s license would be ideal
- Team player

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$70,000 and CA$85,000
