Overview
We are seeking an experienced JD Edwards (JDE) Technical Architect / Subject Matter Expert to support a short-term assessment initiative. This role will focus on evaluating the feasibility of implementing and integrating JD Edwards within a highly customized environment, specifically in relation to capital projects tools.
This is not a hands-on implementation role—rather, it is a strategic and advisory engagement to help define scope, constraints, and technical direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the current JD Edwards landscape, including customizations and integrations
- Evaluate feasibility of implementing and integrating JDE with capital projects tools
- Develop high-level and detailed functional specifications to support decision-making
- Identify technical dependencies, risks, and constraints within a heavily customized environment
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements
- Provide recommendations on architecture, integration approach, and potential implementation pathways
- Translate technical findings into clear, structured documentation for non-technical stakeholders
Required Experience
- Deep expertise in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, preferably 9.2 Release 26
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect or SME in JDE environments
- Strong background working in highly customized JDE ecosystems
- Demonstrated ability to build functional specifications from technical assessments
- Experience evaluating system integrations and feasibility (not just delivery)
- Familiarity with capital projects tools and/or project accounting modules is a strong asset

Nice to Have
- Experience with large-scale enterprise transformations or system assessments
- Exposure to project management or capital planning tools (e.g., Primavera, Oracle-based tools, etc.)
- Prior advisory or consulting experience

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$110.00 and CA$125.00
