Senior Project Manager (Contract)

Location: Pleasant Grove, UT (Remote (U.S.)
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Extension Potential)
Hours: Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week

About the Opportunity

A rapidly growing technology organization is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional software initiatives supporting enterprise customers across a highly regulated industry. This individual will play a critical role in delivering strategic programs that impact customers nationwide while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and executive leadership teams.

This is a high-visibility position for a project leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, can navigate ambiguity, and has a proven track record of driving large-scale initiatives from discovery through implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex software and technology projects
• Build and manage detailed project plans across technical and business workstreams
• Drive execution using a hybrid Agile and Waterfall delivery approach
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment, risk management, issue resolution, and executive reporting
• Translate business requirements into actionable project plans, user stories, and delivery milestones
• Coordinate cross-functional teams while maintaining accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and outcomes
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, customers, and executive leadership

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of project or program management experience within software, SaaS, or technology environments
• Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional technology initiatives
• Strong expertise managing projects utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Experience gathering requirements, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria, and APIs
• Advanced proficiency with Jira, Confluence, or comparable project management platforms
• Demonstrated success managing remote and geographically distributed teams
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level presentations
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials
• Experience within automotive, transportation, fintech, government, or other regulated industries
• Background managing API integrations and cloud-based software platforms
• Experience supporting enterprise SaaS or technology organizations

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $90.00 and $115.00
