Job Title: Project Manager/Business Analyst

Role purpose
This role in Canada for a Project Manager with Business Analysis responsibilities, supporting Product Control and Finance IT in the Americas. The successful candidate will be an individual contributor and will act as a hands-on Project Manager for internal systems with stakeholders across Product Control, Regulatory, and IT support in the Americas and India.
Finance IT is moving this role from the US to the Canadian team. This role focuses on running Scrum and Agile meetings with the Indian development team using Jira and Rally, gathering requirements from the end users, and reporting status to Stakeholders globally using Clarity, Confluence and routine meetings.
Experience with Jira and Agile usage in supporting the US financial and US regulatory markets is required as well as a proven track record in delivering and supporting applications across regions and hubs. Working knowledge with Cloud Reporting tools, resource and budgeting, and AI tools are strongly recommended.
Principal responsibilities
- Conduct daily scrum calls with development teams for US Regulatory Qlik Reporting.
- Maintain and update Jira for an internal Hedging application. Knowledge of FAS 133 Regulations helpful. Meet with Developers biweekly and Stakeholders as needed
- Act as Business Analyst, gathering and refining business requirements, updating stories, managing user acceptance testing and communication between stakeholders.
- Leverage and use approved AI tooling to accelerate support and delivery outcomes, in line with security and data handling requirements.
- Identify risks and issues early, recommend pragmatic solutions, and drive remediation through to completion.
Requirements
- 7+ years’ experience in banking and financial services technology, with strong focus in Product Control and US Regulatory banking, IT delivery and implementation, and stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting considerations in the US, MX and UK markets.
- Strong experience in Agile delivery and DevOps ways of working
- In depth experience with change management tools such as Jira, Atlassian, and Rally
- Project management experience using tools such as Clarity and Microsoft Project
- Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience with databases and data analysis (via SQL and Excel ) is required
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of hedge structures and underlying instruments, including interest rate swaps and fixed income
- Experience with data delivery between front and back office systems is helpful.
- Understanding of common financial systems including PnL systems, US Regulatory and General Ledgers
- knowledge of the FAS 1133
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$74.00 and CA$84.00
