Job Title: Senior Technology Risk Analyst
Location: Winnipeg, MB
Estimated Duration: Fulltime
Responsibilities
- Disaster Recovery Testing: Coordinate and execute end-to-end technical DR production, simulation tests and tabletop exercises.
- Tool Management: Utilize ServiceNow BCM to document recovery plans, map system dependencies, and track compliance metrics.
- Configuration & Architecture: Assist in configuring replication and failover mechanisms for on-premises and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) to meet RTO/RPO targets.
- Compliance & Standards: Align DR plans with client guidelines and industry practices (ISO 27031, NIST).
- Remediation: Conduct post-test reviews to identify recovery gaps and update technical playbooks accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree, CBCP, CDRP, or foundational cloud/ServiceNow certifications.
- Experience: 3–5 years in IT Disaster Recovery, infrastructure, or technical operations.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of hybrid infrastructure (VMware, backups, cloud, replication) and hands-on experience with DR automation tools like SNOW BCM.
- Frameworks: Familiarity with industry standards (ISO 22301/27031, NIST, or regional regulatory guidelines).
- Communication: Clear technical writing skills for building actionable recovery playbooks and coordinating cross-functional IT teams.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$95,000 and CA$120,000
