Job Title: Operations Officer II
Location: Regina, SK (Hybrid)
Estimated Duration: 6 Months

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:
Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities: The person will be responsible for supporting the corporate and legal administrative work across the Private Markets teams, with a primary focus on the Canadian Real estate strategy.  The role will require close collaboration with external law firms, asset managers and across teams that include Investment and Finance, and the Corporate legal team, among others to support ongoing deliverables as well as governance matters.

Role-Specific Accountabilities

  • Coordinating with external law firms and asset managers regarding corporate maintenance matters for legal entities holdings the portfolios' investments..
  • Coordinating the execution of various corporate maintenance documents and assisting with the execution of various transaction documents relating to acquisitions, dispositions and financings.
  • Dealing with and responding to 3rd party and internal stakeholder inquiries and conducting follow up as required.
  • Maintaining and organizing files with a robust follow-up system.
  • Demonstrating a team attitude with an accountability and confidentiality to both internal and external stakeholders to achieve goals of the Firm.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MUST HAVE Hard Skills:

  • Legal background- Knowledge of business and legal terminology.
  • Strong administrative background: 2-4 years
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365- Word, Outlook and Excel

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Accuracy and Attention to detail
  • Strong time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong Analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Positive attitude, accept the day-to-day responsibilities and being flexible with the tasks assigned.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Notary Public appointment is an asset
  • Real estate experience- experience handling commercial estate transactions

 

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$21.00 and CA$24.00
