Senior Business Architect – Wealth Management
Role purpose
Lead the design and approval of the target operating model. This person will connect strategy, business processes, roles, controls, data and technology into one practical blueprint.

Core responsibilities
• Plan and facilitate discovery and future-state design sessions with stakeholders.
• Document current-state variations and identify where standardization or a conscious exception is required.
• Define target capabilities and processes for client onboarding, KYC, account maintenance, portfolio management and trading, client servicing, compliance supervision, reporting, billing and operational workflows.
• Define process owners, decision rights, controls, service hand-offs and governance forums.
• Ensure platform decisions follow the approved business model rather than allowing current system limitations to determine the operating model.
• Work with the NDEX Functional Lead to convert approved processes into functional requirements, data implications and configuration standards.
• Support change impact assessment, implementation sequencing and transition planning.

Candidate profile
• 10+ years in business architecture, operating model design or business transformation.
• Direct Canadian wealth management experience, ideally with an ICPM, portfolio manager or CIRO-regulated dealer.
• Demonstrated experience translating business strategy into target processes, controls, accountabilities and implementation roadmaps.
• Experience with portfolio management, advisor operations, compliance and acquisition-related process integration.
• Strong facilitation skills and the credibility to challenge senior stakeholders constructively.
• Exposure to NDEX, Salesforce, Portfolio Aid or wealth data platforms is an asset, but deep NDEX configuration expertise is not required.
Success indicators
• HWC leaders approve a clear and usable target operating model.
• Each major process has a defined owner, decision rights and controls.
• Business requirements are sufficiently specific to guide NDEX design and implementation.
• Exceptions are explicit and governed rather than embedded informally in local practices.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$100.00 and CA$130.00
