We are seeking an accomplished Account Development Manager to lead our small and mid-tier client relationships, drive revenue growth, and champion TRM’s Retail Media solutions as a growth partner to advertisers. Reporting to the AVP, Triangle Retail Media Sales & Partnerships, you will join a dynamic, highly entrepreneurial team shaping the future of retail media in Canada. 


Account Development Manager
What You’ll Do
You will make an impact by:

  • Owning and growing a portfolio of small and mid-tier growth clients, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities to increase media investment.
  • Prospecting, pitching, and securing new business from emerging brands, seasonal advertisers, and agency partners to expand TRM’s advertiser footprint and maintain a healthy pipeline.
  • Managing the sales pipeline end to end, including opportunity qualification, progression, and close, while maintaining accurate forecasting and visibility into expected revenue.
  • Achieving monthly and quarterly revenue targets through disciplined sales execution, pipeline management, optimization, and repeat investment.
  • Conducting client needs assessments and aligning business objectives to TRM’s standardized and packaged media solutions.
  • Designing and presenting compelling pitches that clearly articulate TRM’s value proposition and drive adoption of objective-based offerings.
  • Owning the full campaign lifecycle end to end, including media planning, booking, campaign setup, optimization, performance monitoring, and post-campaign reporting using TRM’s internal self-serve platform.
  • Leveraging past campaign performance and insights to inform optimization strategies, unlock incremental investment, and drive client retention.
  • Collaborating with Category Account Director, Ad Operations, Product, Measurement, and Merchant teams to ensure seamless activation and strong campaign outcomes.
  • Staying current on retail media trends, performance best practices, and evolving client needs to support continuous improvement of TRM’s go-to-market approach.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in digital media, advertising, or marketing sales, with demonstrated success in solution selling.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, retail media, and ad technology, with the ability to translate insights into actionable client strategies.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow a book of business, including pipeline development, accurate forecasting, and consistent revenue delivery.
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets in a performance-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and relationship-building skills, with confidence engaging client stakeholders.
  • Analytical and adaptable mindset, with the ability to prioritize effectively and operate with discipline.
  • Ability to thrive in both large enterprise environments and agile, fast-paced teams.
  • Experience supporting brand and or performance-driven media campaigns is an asset.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$90,000 and CA$100,000
