Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Maintenance (AME-M) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, inspection, and troubleshooting of aircraft mechanical systems to ensure the highest standards of airworthiness and safety, in compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and company procedures.
Major Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft and aircraft systems including airframe, hydraulics, engines, landing gear, flight controls, and related components.
- Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical issues using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Ensure all work performed is in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Accurately complete maintenance documentation, including logbook entries, work orders, and inspection reports.
- Work collaboratively with other AMEs, engineers, and technical staff to ensure efficient workflow and minimize aircraft downtime.
- Maintain tooling and equipment in good working condition and report any deficiencies.
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed, and that the work area is kept clean and safe.
- Participate in training, audits, and quality assurance activities as required.
- Support line maintenance operations, including AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations when necessary.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Engineer or Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications
- Valid Transport Canada AME-M License (required).
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience.
- Strong understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs).
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and maintenance documents.
- Excellent mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and time management abilities.
- Must be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, working in confined spaces, and at heights.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and able to obtain necessary security clearances.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$32.99 and CA$44.73
