Job Title: Business Analyst IV
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Estimated Duration: 12 Months
SUMMARY OF DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you lead a small collaborative group of analysts working within a larger project team to strengthen our data management initiative across Enterprise Compliance. You will be partnering with stakeholders to identify and resolve data retention and disposition gaps, helping ensure our practices align with Enterprise data management standards, procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Provide guidance, leadership to, and management of a small group of analysts
- Provide reporting and insights around the groups progress and efforts
- Lead and ensure project and data risks and issues across the teams work are appropriately identified, escalated and documented
- Support management and capacity assessments of work in progress
- Potentially lead an independent work effort
- Provide data management and governance support
- Support Data Retention and Disposition (DRD) remediation activities
- Ensure data is maintained in compliance with enterprise data standards, policies, and guidelines
- Perform data analysis and assist in assessing, documenting Data Retention and Disposition requirements, support data retention and disposition analysis, and support development of Data Management and Data Retention and Disposition procedures
- Support identification, inventory and cataloguing of existing data assets
- Manual execution of Data Retention and Disposition and Evidencing procedures
- Build effective working relationships to collaborate with peers and partners on personal deliverables
- Manage numerous stakeholder relationships and provide support where required
MUST-HAVE Hard Skills:

- Project exp ( Timelines standpoint , Risk identification )
- Data analytics Excel reporting – Some manual steps
SOFT SKILLS:

- Data management ( controls , compliance , understanding of data regulatory rules )
- Experience and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Shared Drive/SharePoint, data storage hierarchy/ folder structure and design, Confluence, JIRA
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$61.00 and CA$68.00
