Job Title: Business Analyst – ServiceNow

Location:  Toronto, ON (Remote)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the ServiceNow BCM (Business Continuity Management) implementation for our consulting client. This is a contract position with a dynamic team working on a critical project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ServiceNow, specifically in BCM integrations, and a strong background in business analysis, requirements gathering, and process optimization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and leadership, to gather, document, and validate business requirements for the ServiceNow BMC implementation.
  • Process Mapping: Analyze and document current business processes and workflows. Identify process gaps and inefficiencies, and recommend improvements through ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Solution Design: Assist in translating business requirements into technical specifications for the development team. Work with architects and developers to design optimal solutions.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the technical team. Communicate project progress, risks, and issues effectively.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Coordinate and assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for the ServiceNow BCM implementation. Ensure all deliverables meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Training & Documentation: Develop user manuals, training materials, and process documentation to ensure smooth adoption of the new system. Provide training sessions as necessary.
  • Project Support: Assist with project planning, timelines, and status reporting. Monitor project progress to ensure milestones are met and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Change Management: Support change management initiatives related to ServiceNow BMC implementation, ensuring end-users are prepared for the transition.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with specific experience in ServiceNow BCM implementations (ITSM, ITOM, or ITBM modules preferred).
  • ServiceNow Expertise: Knowledge of ServiceNow BCM modules and features, including workflow automation, incident management, change management, and service catalog management.
  • Business Analysis: Strong experience in business analysis, including requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and documentation.
  • Technical Understanding: Familiarity with technical components of ServiceNow integrations, data migration, and configuration management.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues, think critically, and provide solutions that meet business needs.
  • Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile environment, particularly with Agile project management tools such as JIRA or Confluence.
  • Certifications: ITIL certification or ServiceNow certifications are a plus.

 

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$70.00 and CA$80.00
