We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Business Architect.

We are at the forefront of transforming our business and operating model using the latest artificial intelligence and automation innovations. This role will support Canada’s business and technology transformation in support of our Digital Customer Leader (DCL) ambitions, by executing capability and value stream assessments to address end-to-end business and technology impacts, as well as executing business process optimization and automation exercises.

Typical day-day activities/What will you do?
• Engage with business leaders to understand business strategies, objectives and key results, drive complex business transformations, execute capability and value stream assessments to address end-to-end business and technology impacts, and ensure on-going alignment between strategy and execution.
• Drive innovation and transformation for foundational capabilities to maximize value add through process standardization and technology re-use. Identify common business and solution patterns; partner with technology teams to build out and govern reference architectures.
• Develop an integrated view of organization’s business architecture to support capability, value stream or customer journey assessments and to define and govern outcome-based transformation roadmaps.
• Keep abreast with latest technology developments, industry/market trends, execute competitive research to identify technology innovation opportunities that can optimize or overhaul our business model.
• Drive and facilitate product/vendor direction and integrate new technologies from an architectural perspective within the business environment, while optimizing costs and mitigating risks.
• Contribute to meeting key project milestones and overall project deliverables on time, within budget, and adhering to relevant standards.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

  1. minimum of 10 years' experience in progressing transformation roles in business and technology domains.
  2. Ability to successfully drive complex, cross-functional business and technology transformations, with multiple stakeholders and potential conflicting agendas.
  3. Ability to recognize structural issues within the organization, functional interdependencies, and cross-silo redundancies and work effectively at all levels of an organization to influence others to move toward consensus.
  4. Ability to act as liaison conveying information needs of the business to IT and data constraints to the business, while applying equal conveyance regarding business strategy and IT strategy, business processes and workflow automation, business initiatives and IT initiatives, and benefit realization and service delivery.
  5. Experience with capability, value stream and customer experience assessments, SWOT analysis, definition, and governance of outcome-based transformation roadmaps.
  6. Experience using model-based representations and business architecture blueprints, that can be adjusted as required to collect, aggregate, or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business.
  7. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations.
     

Education:
• A degree in business management, marketing, finance or technology.
 

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$90.00 and CA$110.00
