Job Title: Business Continuity Specialist
Location: Toronto, ON (Remote)
Estimated Duration: 8 months
Project Specific Activities:
- Source content across the Technology & Operations organizations to support the development of Business Continuity plans with key stakeholders.
- Evaluate and analyze current remediation items, review and enhance current exercises such as 'table-top' , 'simulations' and 'failover testing' exercises.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop a requirements for Business Continuity and lead changes/updates to the BC guidelines in support of any new requirements.
- Lead the collection of information across the Bank to inform a recommendations on remediation efforts, pull together requirements in order to update the System of Records, create methodology documentation in preparation of execution. Analyze current risk assessment process compared to 'out of the box tool'. Consider other opportunities that might further continuity that should be presented. Facilitate socialization of recommendation and any follow up activities.
Skill Sets:
- 5-7 years experience supporting Business Continuity planning for an Enterprise level organization (ideally a bank).
- Strong background in Business Continuity and/or Remediation efforts.
- Good understanding of resilience architecture, to support alignment of BC requirements
- Ability to partner actively across both business and technology teams to drive project activities
- Change Management capabilities to facilitate changed as well as tracking of all review and approval cycles
- Strong understanding of various BC exercises, gathering requirements and creating methodology documentation
- Strategic thought leadership
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$45.00 and CA$58.00
