Buyer I

Overview:
Our Client is seeking a Buyer to process purchase orders for materials and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement that meets business requirements. This role serves as a liaison between stakeholders, suppliers, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Review and process purchase requisitions, ensuring compliance with policies.

Submit RFQs to suppliers with Master Service Agreements (MSAs) or Terms & Conditions (T&C).

Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, project managers, and engineers on procurement needs.

Maintain records per policies, audit guidelines, and SOX requirements.

Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
-
Release approved purchase orders and manage change orders as needed.

Validate and reconcile supplier invoices, resolving discrepancies with stakeholders.

Complete closeout activities for materials and services.

Direct spend to preferred suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Ensure procurement procedures minimize risk and maximize value.

Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
-
University degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.

Experience as a materials/services buyer in Supply Chain.

Knowledge of procurement processes, industry trends, and SOX policies.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Preferred:
-
Enrollment in a professional designation program (SCMP, CPSM, or equivalent).

Experience with Oracle Cloud.
This role offers an opportunity to contribute to an efficient and effective procurement process, ensuring optimal value for Our Client.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $23.00 and $26.00
