Our client is seeking an experienced Buyer IV to support complex procurement needs across multiple business units. The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, post-award administration, and supplier performance management.
Key Responsibilities:

Independently handle complex procurement activities and contract administration.

Source, negotiate, and manage purchase orders to align with business goals.

Lead RFx processes, contract formation, and legal review coordination.
-
Identify and implement cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.
-
Monitor supplier performance, manage relationships, and resolve compliance issues.
-
Train junior team members and support enterprise SCM process enhancements.

Utilize Oracle Cloud and other procurement tools extensively.

Ensure alignment with internal policies, audit guidelines, and SOX requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
-
University degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain Management; or equivalent experience.

7+ years in procurement or supply chain, preferably in the oil & gas sector.

Proficiency in Oracle Cloud or SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
-
Proven ability to work independently and cross-functionally with stakeholders.
Preferred:
-
SCMP or CPSM designation.
-
Knowledge of TCO, category management, and strategic sourcing.
-
Cost modeling, project management, and facilitation skills.
-
Understanding of procurement compliance (e.g., SOX).
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $45.00 and $50.00
