Position Title: Capital Markets – Business Analyst – IT
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Estimated Duration: 6 months

Story Behind the Need
Business group: The CRM Global Technology Applications team supporting Global Banking & Markets Wholesale clients.
Project: We are embarking on a Salesforce project to digitize and integrate systems along the Client Lifecycle for wholesale banking. You will be responsible for working with consultants and business stakeholders to design and build the workflow and system integrations required. You will remove barriers throughout the project enabling the development and deployment of quality solutions that meet these requirements

Typical Day in Role / Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with end users, and business teams to understand business needs, conduct gap analysis and requirements assessments as needed
  • Partner with Architecture on understanding the design and integration
  • Create impact analysis document, User stories, Design workflows for implementation
  • Deliver and enhance new and current solutions and applications
  • Be involved in the full life cycle of a project, responsible for producing actionable and complete specifications, writing production quality code, and implementation
  • Understand existing database schema, identify gaps and recommend solutions
  • Design test sets and automate where possible, including functional and non-functional testing, regression testing as well as performance testing
  • Support the solution in production (as needed)
  • Improve the end user experience by finding scalable solutions and addressing complex ad hoc queries.
  • Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
  • Coach and train end users (as needed).
  • Participate and run SCRUM Meetings (as needed).

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

  • 10+ years’ experience as a BSA
  • 2+ years’ of experience gathering requirements with product design and building roadmaps
  • 2+ years’ recent experience with Salesforce CRM
  • Recent experience writing intermediate SQL/SoQL queries
  • Capital markets and global banking experience is required

Nice-To-Have Skills:

  • Financial services experience is a plus around AML, KYC, and/or Compliance

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills to work across different business lines and with different users
  • Strong ability to work under pressure
  • A ‘go getter’ personalities who can solve problems and think outside the box.

Best vs average: The ideal candidate will have very strong Salesforce experience. They would be a strong technical lead (not a people manager), who has significant experience with integration and enterprise level solutioning. Candidates will be data oriented. Previous experience with experience gathering requirements with product design and building roadmaps is prioritized over nice to have skills.

Degrees or certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (logical reasoning) such as computer science, computer engineering or related field. If not from a technical field, please ensure they have sufficient experience in similar roles supporting integration.
  • Salesforce Certifications is highly preferred (Salesforce Admin is a plus)

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$81.00 and CA$91.00
