Change Management & Communications Lead III

Position Overview
The Change Management & Communications Lead III is responsible for leading and delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution. This role combines project management, change management, and business analysis to ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives, with a strong focus on process optimization, stakeholder alignment, and measurable business outcomes.

This individual partners closely with business leaders, technical teams, and key stakeholders to drive adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, including development of program charters, project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables
  • Partner with business sponsors and cross-functional stakeholders to define scope, manage risks, and ensure successful execution
  • Establish and maintain project governance, including regular reporting on progress, risks, and performance
  • Drive change management activities, including impact assessments, communication plans, and adoption strategies
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, including workflow standardization, gap analysis, and automation recommendations
  • Develop business cases and conduct current vs. future state analysis to support strategic initiatives
  • Coordinate resources across multiple teams and manage interdependencies across concurrent projects
  • Ensure alignment between business and IT teams for system implementations and enhancements
  • Facilitate effective communication across all levels of the organization, including senior leadership and executives
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and promoting best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, change management, or business analysis
  • Proven experience managing complex, strategic, cross-functional projects
  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies and project governance frameworks
  • Experience with business process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to influence and lead without direct authority

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Strong understanding of system implementations and IT/business integration
  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to executive audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as PMP, Prosci (Change Management), Six Sigma, or Business Analysis (PBA)
  • Experience supporting operations-focused environments (e.g., asset management, compliance, field operations)
  • Experience with internal audit or governance processes

Work Environment

  • Hybrid schedule – 3 days in office, 2 remote
  • Minimal travel required, with occasional travel for specific projects
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $85.00 and $92.00
