Change Manager (OCM)
12 Month Contract +
Location: Toronto, ON

Description:
This role supports a high-priority transformation initiative within the business, with a focus on change communication, stakeholder engagement, and end-user adoption. The organization does not currently have an established change management practice — this role is critical in building and embedding a change framework tailored to this program, with future repeatability in mind. This is business-facing role best suited to someone who brings entrepreneurial energy, can work independently, and thrives in environments without pre-built structures. Experience in the insurance industry is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement OCM strategies to support change initiatives.
  • Deliver change communication plans that resonate with business stakeholders.
  • Establish and implement a scalable change management approach using the Prosci ADKAR methodology.
  • Engage with a diverse range of stakeholders to assess change impacts and drive adoption strategies.
  • Manage resistance and measure change adoption and effectiveness.
  • Align change initiatives with business goals and project timelines.
  • Work closely with HR leadership to align change activities with broader people and organizational goals.
  • Provide coaching and support to leaders and teams through the change process.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in organizational change management, with a focus on business transformation
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead change initiatives in unstructured, entrepreneurial settings. Comfortable working without an ITIL or traditional PMO structure.
  • Deep familiarity with Prosci ADKAR.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Comfortable building change strategies from scratch — not just implementing pre-defined plans.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Insurance industry experience is a strong asset.
  • Prosci certification or equivalent is preferred.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$80.00 and CA$95.00
