Job Title: IT Operations Analyst IV
Duration: 12 Months
Location: 740 Progress Avenue, Scarborough. ON
Work Model: 100% Onsite – Rotational 12-Hour Shifts
ROLE SUMMARY
IT Operations Analyst IV within Network Operations Support Group responsible for frontline (Tier 1 / 1.5) production network support in a 24×7 dual-site environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage day-to-day shift deliverables under direction of NOC Shift Leader
- Monitor and react to network anomalies using enterprise monitoring tools
- Provide L1/L1.5 support for LAN, MAN, WAN, RLAN, Wireless, Firewall, Load Balancer, Optical environments
- Incident management, escalation to L2/L3 teams as required
- Ensure proper documentation, ticket updates, and smooth shift handover
- Support incident, change, and problem management processes
- Prioritize and triage incidents based on device criticality
- Participate in high priority (P2) incident calls
- Escalate to internal client teams and third-party vendors
- Manage repeat, chronic, and aging incidents
- Create MoPs and technical documentation
- Identify automation opportunities for repeated tasks
- Provide knowledge sharing and peer review support
- Assess impact/risk and report to Shift Leader/Manager

MUST-HAVE HARD SKILLS
- CCNP (R&S) with minimum 3 years troubleshooting experience OR CCNA with minimum 5 years troubleshooting experience
- Cisco Routing & Switching (Catalyst/Nexus)
- Strong troubleshooting / break-fix experience
- Experience in Network Operations / Production Environment
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and telecommunications concepts
- SDWAN knowledge (Cisco Viptela / Aruba Silverpeak)
- Hands-on experience with Cisco routers/switches, Firewalls, Load Balancers, WiFi
- Experience managing incident queues and escalations
- Strong documentation and communication skills

- VMware NSX
- SevOne, Infoblox, ExtraHop, ThousandEyes monitoring tools

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$38.00 and CA$48.00
