Position Title: IT Program Manager

Story Behind the Need
Business group: Project Delivery & Support is currently supporting The Global Network Engineering team will partner with our newly selected Service Integrator to deploy SDWAN technology and deliver new hi-speed broadband internet circuits in all our Canadian Retail & Wealth Branches to better support Cloud native applications for the business and migrate the on-prem PBX telephony services to Cloud.
Project: This Program will partner with a Service Integrator and deploy SDWAN Technology and hi-speed broadband across Client Branches to better support Cloud native applications, and migrate the on-prem PBX telephony services to Cloud.
Reason for request: Program Manager required to kick off the project, overseeing the life-cycle of the program.

Typical Day in Role
- Develop, track and manage project budget, project plans, timelines and scope
- Manage project resources including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching and advising
- Partner closely with other members of functional teams to define business requirements
- Lead teams of developers in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs
- Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing
- Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures
- Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses
- Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized
- Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors
- Communicating with project team and vendors
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
- 10+ years experience in a Program Manager role, preferrable on Infrastructure Initiatives
- Prior experience with Cloud Migration projects (GCP,AWS, Azure)
- People Management Project Scope of $20 Million Dollars
- Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization
- Prior Financial institution experience
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Previous client Experience an asset
- PBX telephony services experience is an asset
- Experience with SDWAN Technology is an asset
Soft Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
- Great communication skills are required, as they will regularly be communicating internally and externally
Best vs Average: The ideal candidate would have a PMP/PMI and previous infrastructure experience specifically with Cloud platforms.
Degrees or certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field required (Technical fields preferred, although experience is more important)

Structure and Format: Two rounds (screening interview with HM + interview with project sponsors)
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$105.00 and CA$120.00
