Title: Mechanical Engineer (Compressor Station & Metering Facilities)
Overview:
Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and execution of natural gas compressor stations and metering facilities. This role oversees third-party engineering deliverables, ensures compliance with regulatory codes, and works closely with operations and construction teams to ensure high-quality, constructible solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Define scope, schedule, and budget for mechanical designs and materials.

Oversee third-party engineering firms; review and approve technical deliverables.

Ensure compliance with CFR 192, corporate standards, and industry codes.

Participate in design reviews and resolve constructability or operations concerns.

Review vendor quotes for compressors, vessels, buildings, and other key equipment.

Incorporate lessons learned into future projects and contribute to continuous improvement.

Support project execution in both office and field settings.
Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering field.

7+ years of engineering experience, including project management elements.

Strong understanding of compressor and metering facility design in the natural gas industry.

Working knowledge of CFR 192 and relevant design codes.

Strong communication, organizational, and technical documentation skills.

Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to field sites (~20% travel).

Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard engineering software tools.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $53.00 and $58.00
