Role description 
Reporting to the PMO Lead, the Project Analyst is responsible for providing governance, reporting, Clarity support, and portfolio management services across Technology. As part of the evolving governance model, the Project Analyst plays a key role in supporting governance phase gate reviews, ensuring initiatives adhere to established standards, processes, and portfolio requirements. The role is responsible for identifying and escalating non-compliant initiatives, providing guidance on governance requirements, supporting resource management activities, and delivering portfolio reporting and analytics to support informed decision-making.

 
Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial governance phase gate reviews of initiatives, ensuring required deliverables, documentation, approvals, and data quality standards are met.

  • Identify, assess, and escalate non-compliant initiatives, risks, concerns, and process gaps to appropriate stakeholders.

  • Provide Clarity expertise and support, including project setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and data quality oversight.

  • Prepare and analyze governance, portfolio, financial, resource, and project health reporting and analytics.

  • Support portfolio resource management activities, including maintaining resource information and assisting with capacity reporting.

  • Provide troubleshooting and issue resolution support related to governance processes, reporting, and PMO tools.

  • Support project governance and documentation by assisting with portfolio-level project plans, schedules, status updates, and PMO artifacts, ensuring alignment with standards and data quality expectations.

  • Contribute to the PMO knowledge base, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting project, portfolio, or governance processes, with the ability to review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, assess impacts, and escalate concerns appropriately.

  • Experience working with reporting, data analysis, and dashboards to support decision-making and portfolio oversight.

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to ensure accuracy and consistency in governance reviews, documentation, and reporting.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$57.00 and CA$57.00
