Job Title: Project Controls Coordinator IV
Location: Waltham, MA or Houston, Texas (Hybrid)

Overview:
Our Client, a leader in crude and natural gas transportation, is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator to support its Core Programs Project Controls Team. This role focuses on providing total cost control oversight, guidance, and governance across multiple maintenance projects—typically ranging from $300K to $10MM in value and lasting one to two years. You’ll partner closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to drive financial accountability, forecasting accuracy, and effective cost tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement and support cost control processes, including baseline budgeting, change management, risk assessments, and reporting.

Collaborate with scheduling counterparts to ensure alignment between cost and schedule forecasts.

Develop and maintain tools for planning, tracking, and reporting project costs and cash flow.

Conduct monthly cost and forecast reviews with project teams and deliver reporting for stakeholders up to the executive and board levels.

Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) to monitor performance and identify cost risks.

Monitor AFE components such as engineering, procurement, construction, contingency, escalation, and internal costs.

Support cost analysis during field construction phases using digital tools like Digital LEMS and contractor documentation.

Participate in cross-functional health checks to assess schedule, cost, and risk processes.

Contribute to project meetings and vendor discussions to identify and resolve budget issues.
Qualifications:
-
10+ years of cost control and project controls experience across multiple projects.

Industry experience in Oil & Gas, Power, Petrochemical, or Industrial projects preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Construction Management preferred.

AACE (CCC/CCE) or PMP certification highly desirable.

Proficient in Oracle, EcoSys, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Familiarity with Power BI, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

Strong communication and analytical skills.

Ability to manage high workloads across multiple projects with minimal supervision.

Experience working in geographically distributed team
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $70.00 and $80.00
