Job Title: Project Delivery Lead
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Estimated Duration: 12 Months
Location: Downtown Toronto – 3 days of week
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define transformation objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Transformation Office and operational teams in Front, Middle, and Back Offices.
- Facilitate regular workshops and meetings to capture requirements and user stories, communicate progress, and address challenges.
- Support the development of business cases through the identification and quantification of business benefits. Monitor and report on benefit realization throughout the delivery of the program.
- Contribute to detailed plans for the successful execution of the transformation program, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Prioritize business requirements and user stories in alignment with key system integration milestones and operating model changes.
- Lead the analysis of existing processes, technology, and data flows across the organization.
- Work with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Redesign business processes to align with the capabilities of new systems and leading practices.
- Define and document changes to the operating model, including roles, responsibilities, and workflows.
- Support testing of new systems and processes to ensure business requirements are met. Participate in the defect management and solution design where requirements are impacted.
- Collaborate with the Change Management team to design and execute strategies to manage organizational impacts.
- Support training initiatives to ensure teams across Front, Middle, and Back Offices are prepared for new systems and processes.
- Provide ongoing guidance and support teams to facilitate smooth adoption.
- Identify potential risks and issues related to technology, process and organizational changes.
- Proactively develop mitigation strategies and work with stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor the effectiveness of new systems and processes post-implementation, ensuring objectives are met.
- Gather feedback and work with teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation of lessons learned for future initiatives.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Business Analysts and other team members involved in the program to develop and sustain disciplined program delivery behaviours.
- Drive a focus on quality and efficiency throughout the transformation lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster buy-in and support the transformation program by fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, and service excellence.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7-9 years experience managing large programs and/or transformation initiatives in the Financial Services industry.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, or Finance.
- Strong knowledge of project/program management best practices and standards.
- Deep understanding of the investment lifecycle across investment products, including key processes.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and programs with competing priorities.
- Expert communication and presentation skills with all levels of business, technology, and control partner stakeholders. Ability to translate and synthesize complex topics and solicit decisions from senior executives.
- Experience implementing and delivering change to leading investment applications, including but not limited to Eagle, Calypso, Charles River, Bloomberg, BlackRock, and/or SimCorp.
- Experience with the Azure cloud platform and/or Snowflake are nice to have.
- Certifications in Agile delivery, Lean, Six Sigma, Business Process Notation, Change Management are considered an asset.
- Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) is considered an asset.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$80.00 and CA$90.00
