Required Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in an Agile-focused role in a technology environment. Prior experience in the financial services industry is strongly preferred.
API Technologies: Solid understanding of API technologies, including integration patterns, data exchange protocols (REST, SOAP), and API lifecycle management. Experience in managing projects involving API development or integration is essential.
Agile Expertise: Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.), including scaling agile practices across large, matrixed organizations.
Project Management Skills: Solid understanding of project management methodologies and practices, including Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid models. Proven ability to manage complex projects from initiation through to completion.
Matrixed Organization Experience: Experience in managing and leading cross-functional teams within large, matrixed organizations, with a demonstrated ability to navigate organizational complexities.
Tool Expertise (Jira & Clarity): Proficiency in using Jira for Agile project management, tracking tasks, sprints, and issues. Familiarity with Clarity or other portfolio management tools for tracking financials, resources, and project status.
Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including executives and technical teams.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or other relevant certifications are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry Experience: Previous experience working in large-scale financial services organizations, with an understanding of financial products, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Technical Expertise: Exposure to modern software development technologies, IT systems architecture, and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS)

Key Responsibilities
Agile Leadership & Methodology: Lead and manage technology projects using Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of software and systems. Act as an Agile champion to foster an environment of continuous improvement.
Matrixed Delivery Management: Oversee cross-functional, matrixed teams composed of technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving collaboration and alignment across multiple departments, business units, and external partners.
Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets. Lead project teams to achieve milestones, ensuring scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are met.
Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle. Proactively implement mitigation strategies and manage project changes effectively to minimize impact.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders at all levels, from executives to technical teams. Regularly report on project progress, risks, and overall performance.
API Technology Management: Manage and deliver technology projects that involve APIs, ensuring seamless integration between systems. Understand API technologies, data exchange, and integration patterns to drive technical execution and troubleshoot issues.
Tool Expertise (Jira & Clarity): Utilize Jira for Agile project tracking and Clarity for portfolio management and financial tracking. Ensure project status, tasks, and issues are accurately captured and monitored. Use these tools to generate reports, track project progress, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with technical leads, product managers, and business analysts to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions. Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
Change Management: Support the adoption and successful implementation of change management processes within the project, ensuring stakeholders are prepared for changes in technology and business processes.
