Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Winnipeg, MB (Remote)
Estimated Duration: 12 Months
Responsibilities
- Manage the full project life cycle, ensuring controls are in place to manage project constraints (scope, schedule, budget, quality).
- Understand business objectives and develop the implementation plan, estimating required resources and timelines.
- Identify and manage risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead project discussions and participate actively as a project team member.
- Manage and schedule project resources to ensure delivery against plan.
- Develop and manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and action items; coordinate release approvals.
- Manage project budget and provide monthly forecast updates.
- Ensure project delivery remains within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Engage stakeholders, lead recurring project meetings, and track deliverables.
- Liaise with business owners, product managers, strategy managers, and external vendors to ensure alignment.
- Serve as the primary contact for external service providers related to deliverables.
- Oversee stakeholder communication execution.
- Work with managers to create plans, identify risks, and prioritize as needed.
- Support governance forums, ensuring oversight and decision-making at the program level.
- Develop and present comprehensive project status updates to governance bodies, including the Executive Steering Committee.
- Lead end-to-end business case development and stakeholder buy-in.
- Manage complex RFP processes and statement-of-work development to ensure clarity and compliance.
- Track contractual deliverables and payment milestones to maintain program momentum and adherence.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Commerce, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- PMP or SAFe (Scaled Agile) certification preferred.
- Supplemental training in project/risk/program/agile management is an asset.
- Minimum 7 years of related experience, including at least 3 years managing medium-to-large projects or special initiatives.
- Experience gathering requirements and producing requirements documentation.
- Strong background in business case development and delivery.
- 7–10 years of experience leading end-to-end ERP implementation projects.
- Experience leading programs involving multi-million-dollar budgets, cross-functional teams, and enterprise-wide digital transformations.
- Experience engaging VP and C-suite stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills to motivate diverse project teams.
- Strategic and tactical planning to align business and IT priorities.
- Proficiency with MS Teams, Azure DevOps, Miro, Power BI.
- Strong skills in Visio, SharePoint, MS Project, and the broader Microsoft Suite.
- Exposure to SAFe Agile methodologies or similar frameworks.
The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$95.00 and CA$100.00
