We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess programming skills, along with significant experience in data analysis, process improvement, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the analysis of collections data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Develop comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to inform decision-making.
- Design and implement predictive models to forecast collections performance.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that enhance collections efficiency.
- Mentor junior analysts by providing guidance on best practices in data analysis and programming.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and actionable manner.
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all analytics activities.
- Drive and implement digital strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the collections process, including the adoption of new technologies and automation tools.
- Collaborate with and support the Agency Risk & Control Team to optimize third party recovery efforts and improve overall performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or similar role in collections or finance.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and SAS; experience with additional programming languages is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and translate them into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of leading projects and driving process improvements.

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$80,000 and CA$87,000
