Job Title: Technical Analyst

Location: Houston,TX (Hybrid Work Model)

Estimated Duration: 12 months

Overview:
Our Client is seeking an experienced Technical Analyst to support the integration of newly acquired business units within the Operational Technology (OT) and SCADA workstream. This role plays a key part in ensuring seamless technology transitions, vendor coordination, and milestone tracking for critical infrastructure systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in IT systems integration, business analysis, and change management—especially within SCADA/OT environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the integration of SCADA and OT systems into Our Client’s existing infrastructure as part of M&A activities.

  • Collaborate with business users to gather and document requirements, create use cases, and support project documentation.

  • Assist in vendor onboarding, including RFP creation, SOW development, response evaluation, and selection.

  • Track and support project milestones, timelines, risks, and issue resolution.

  • Work closely with IT and OT teams to support testing, deployment, and documentation of technology solutions.

  • Manage change requests, deployment schedules, and production cutovers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 7–10 years of experience as a Technical Analyst, ideally in integration or transformation programs.

  • Strong understanding of M&A systems integration and project delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

  • Skilled in MS Office and familiar with tools such as JIRA, Trello, and Power BI.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in SCADA, HMI, or other Operational Technology systems within the gas pipeline or utility industry.

  • Experience collaborating with professional services or consulting firms.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is between $65.00 and $70.00
