Project Manager

This individual is responsible to lead a project team to deliver the approved scope of work in accordance with the specified objectives. The Project manager is responsible to maintain some key relationships which are but not limited to customers and stakeholders by influencing and continuously building a mutual confidence, Sr. Managers reporting progress, supporting and escalating issues should they arise, Internal Resource Owners by acquiring the necessary resource, Department Managers and Supervisors by communicating/cascading project/work objectives and to monitor, control and motivate. Other key relationships are to both Internal resource owners, assisting them to acquire the necessary resource, and Suppliers, Partners and Collaborators to specify, manage and negotiate contracts. |
Duties and Responsibilities (in the order of priority): |
Interpret, confirm and acquire means to achieve Customer requirements, and develop and communicate the scope and specifications for work change |
Agree and commit to the Project Management/Business Plan and develop detailed plans, budgets and statements of work to meet the overall project objectives |
Develop and communicate the plan and budget for delivering the work on time, and manage Project cost and resources to ensure delivery of the plan |
Implement effective Risk Management and Project Gated Review Processes for the package |
Act as the management focal point for the work and provides Senior Management with regular information necessary demonstrate control of the Project |
Manage the successful delivery of the overall Project. |
Integrate and negotiate all supplier, partner and customer interfaces |
Manage and communicate all project activities effectively with stakeholders, including across design, procurement, manufacturing, quality, validation, assembly, delivery and in-service activities. |
Sets up, develops and maintains team performance and motivation. |
Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies: | |
Education Level (Degree, Area of Study) – Minimum Requirement: | Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution |
Years of Experience (if applicable): | 5+ years of experience in relevant discipline preferably on project work (either in Integrated Program Team, or functionally based) 3 years minimum of experience in the application of specific project management processes (i.e.. Cost or scope management) |
Professional Certifications: | Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or capable of gaining PMP qualification |

The pay range that the employer reasonably expects to pay for this position is between CA$70.00 and CA$85.00
